Suno.ai recently announced the release of the latest version of their music creator, version 3.
Still in the Alpha stage, the option is only available to to Pro and above users, buts an entirely new level of clarity and prompt understanding to an already amazing model.
According to Suno, the new version features includes:

v3 should be available to all, even free, users soon, but until then, you can try it yourself for only $10 per month. A paid membership will not only give you more generations, but also general commercial usage as well as the ability to flip a switch for "Instrumental Only" which is a great addition if you don't need lyrics. Previously, or still with the free accounts, you can specify "No Lyrics" in your prompt, and it usually will not add lyrics. But the addition of an easy toggle, is a nice touch.
Practical Use
Suno is already ahead of many other audio creation sites, especially for generative music AND lyrics. v3 Alpha puts it one step closer to being production ready, however, a trained ear can still pick up inconsistencies in the audio, both instrumental and voice, and, while good, is far from a replacement for a professional recording. Right now, this is a great way to create scratch music, or to get inspiration for a style or lyrics you are trying to come up with. If you are a song writer, being able to put in your own lyrics, and see how they could work with different types of a music, could be an invaluable tool.
